This he said while reacting to his suspension by the National Working Committee (NWC) for anti-party activities.
Alhaji Tukur said though he did not deserve the treatment being meted out to him by the party of which he was a founding member and served diligently up to the position of being a national chairman, he was willing to appear before the party's disciplinary committee as a loyal member.
Tukur who insisted on his innocence said: "My position on this case is simply that I have never taken my party to court. I have been sued myself as a defendant. The court cases are very clear. When I was sued to make appearance, naturally I and my representative had to go to court and represent me. But I have never sued my party.”
